Obituary Notice: Robert L. (Andy) Andelt, 28, was killed during the opening session of the Ak-Sar-Ben rodeo in Omaha. He was riding Bull 14 when, after the chute was opened, the bull tossed him to the ground and planted a hoof on the performer's head and pinned him in the corner of the arena. He was dead on arrival at an Omaha hospital. Born in Denton, NE. Lifetime Lancaster County resident. Foreman for City Water Dept. Served in Marines 1957-60. President of Hunt Club. Member Rodeo Cowboys Assn. Survivors: wife, Beverly; daughters, Wendy and Justina, both at home.
