Married to Duane for 14 years. Previously married for 31 years to Red Richards, now deceased.
Children: Gene Richards , 43, McCool Jct. Nebraska, Dean Richards, 40, Lincoln 5 Grandchildren.
WORK: First job, Gold's Dept Store, Accounting office. Lincoln Regional Center, Payroll, Lincoln Public Schools, office, Pegler & Co, Payroll. Finally settled at the Dept of Roads, first in Payroll division, then in Controller division doing accounting and now I am a Highway Survey Assistant in the surveying division.
Also for 8 years worked at the Election Board voting precincts.
I am still employed at the Dept of Roads, this is my 27th year. I hope to retire sometime, but right now I still enjoy working.
INTERESTS: Love to travel, go boating, camping and doing my crafts, crocheting & knitting. Hope to get some of my projects finished.
REFLECTIONS: Oh, those wonderful fifty's. Being so young and so much smarter than our parents.
We sure have learned, haven't we?
