Married 45 years to Jeff Cheuvront
Two Children: J.P. Cheuvront, 40, Manhattan, New York City, NY; Chelle Cheuvront, 38, Manhattan, New York City, NY.
WORK: Taught at Lincoln Southeast High School (quit to raise kids). Substituted for Lincoln Public Schools for about three years. Became the office manager of Dick Wieland's (LHS class of 1950) dental office for about 16 years. I have done many volunteer jobs over the years. I particularly enjoyed being a docent at Sheldon Art Gallery. Currently I am serving on the Woods Psychiatric Award Committee. Retired in 1999.
INTERESTS: I enjoy the arts, discussion groups and gardening and I belong to related groups. Jeff and I particularly like to travel and have been able to do so.
Significant Events: Marrying Jeff and raising my kids. Also, Jeff's run for the judiciary position (about 33 years ago) was a victory.
CHANGES: I don't believe I've changed much since high school - maybe a bit more mature (and that is questionable). But I still like to have fun and I refuse to take anything too seriously. This is harder to do in this day and age and I truly miss the simplicity of the 50's. The biggest "life change" in Jeff's and my life to date is our move to a townhouse after over 35 years in the same house. However, we still haven't moved over one mile from where each of us grew up!
