WORK: First job after college: Senior Design Engineer. Last job: Senior Scientist. Lead a Fibromyalgia support group; Worked with the Los Angeles Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation in developing a Fibromyalgia Education Manual. Retired in 1993.
INTERESTS: Photography, Digital and Traditional Processes; Art Studies; Investment Club; Lunching with retired friends
Life Changes: Moved from Kansas City, MO to Lincoln in 1954 - I went from a trade school education system to a college preparatory school - a personal challenge;
Aced high school chemistry - a personal victory;
B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering, U. of N., 1960 & 1961; Honorable discharge for 12 years Army National Guard and Army Reserve service; Early retirement - Lucky
Miss most about the 50's:
1.) Losing my youth.
2.) Feeling immortal.
3.) Losing my naivete.
Reflections: The important things in life require your full attention and dedication. Tell your grand children this; They cannot generate wealth from wages earned while working for someone else, they have to create savings from their wages and invest those savings wisely, for the long term.
