An e-mail from his son, William Winsor, II (05/02/06) "He was married on February 18, 1967, in Lincoln, to Kathleen Gale Wester. During this, his only marriage, they had two boys: myself (William Winsor II) and Robert Winsor. They divorced in August, 1975 while living in Southern California. My father, as unusual as it was in those days, was granted full custody of his two sons (and we are glad he was!) We grew up across most of western US living in much of the Los Angeles Metro area (San Bernardino, Chino, Riverside, San Antonio, TX; Hastings, NE, Portland, OR, and Tucson, AZ. In 1986, he became so ill, he was confined to bed. That?s when we moved to Lincoln. He has one sister, still living in Lincoln, Janell Winsor (now Janell Dreesen). Both of his parents are deceased as well."
