Survivors: children, Doug West, Cathy Day, Mark West, Deb Baker, Christina Humphrey, all Lincoln; Greg West, Kearney; Laci Livaudals, Ronnie West, Jr., both Arizona; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Donna Simecek West writes: Ron worked for George Cook Construction after high school for several years. He was injured by a falling building forcing a career change. After this he worked different jobs moving between Lincoln and Phoenix. Later he settled in Peoria, Arizona where he worked as a building inspector for the city. Ron was a heavy smoker and when he contracted pneumonia, the end result was a massive infection that took his life. Next of kin - twin brother, Donald Dean West.
