Children: Brian 33 and Alan 36, both in Mesa, AZ. 3 Grandchildren. (2 girls, one boy)
WORK: First job, taught music in Nelson, Nebr. for 3 years. Married and moved to Mesa, AZ in 1965 where I taught elementary general music and band, before becoming supervisor of general music for the Mesa Schools. Retired in 1996, but have continued teaching in early childhood music. Mesa hired me back in 2001 to teach a few classes and help with new staff.
INTERESTS: Have always liked the out doors...camping, hiking fishing. Also sports, including tennis, which I lettered in at Nebr. Wesleyan. Am now enamored with the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team, and have held season tickets since their beginning.
HONORS: 1984 Mesa Schools Educator of the Year.
REFLECTIONS: Change, and resultant growth, is an essential, lifelong process.
