Agnes (Taylor) Hickok
Married to Larry G. Hickok for 50 years.
Children: Lori Dawn Feis, 48, married for 28 years to Rick Feis, aAirline Pilot and resides in Las Vegas, NV; Kelly Lea Hickok, 44, and resides in Miami, FL. a television director for 20 years. Two grandchildren: Ashley Dawn Feis, 22, currently in Medical School; Justin Richard Feis, 18, currently a sophomore at the University of Las Vegas.
WORK: I have worked off and on most of my life as an Interior Decorator and have also managed a fitness center and was a partner in a Diet Center. Yes, I continue to work in a part time basis as an Interior Decorator/Designer and find time forvolunteer work. You would probably have to call it semi-retirement since I continue on a part time basis. My husband retired in early 2000 but he continues to do consulting for an engineering firm on a part time basis. I won't retire completely as long as everything physical/mental remains in good working order.
INTERESTS: My lifelong passion has always been Interior Design along with exercising and with golf and volunteering with Hope Hospice, I findmy days full without much free time but this is all by my choice to stay as active as possible. It certainly keeps a person young and alive which is my idea of retirement fun.
REFLECTIONS: I put a great deal of significance in the fact that I come from a family of 9 brothers and sisters and all remain alive and in good health.
CHANGES: I don't believe I have changed much since High School, but doesn't everyone think that. I know that I am much wiser and far more mature than I was then. Do I miss anything about the 50's. Absolutely not with one possible exception and that being that it was a much simpler time then. Well, possibly you could say that I miss Elvis. I have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, two marvelous grandchildren, a great son-in-law and I take such pride in their achievements. Life is good, life is great and I try to let nothing disturb my peace.
