I got married in 1961. I worked until my son was born in 1962, then became a homemaker/stay at home Mom. I started doing volunteer work at Bryan Memorial Hospital in 1969 and still continue to do so. I also do weekly volunteer work at Messiah Lutheran Church. I started selling Antiques at the Brass Armadillo in Omaha in 1994 and currently I am still a dealer.
Hobbies: My hobby for 40 years has been collecting antiques. My favorites are antique jewelry, perfume bottles, pottery, and glass toothpick holders.
Significant Events: The biggest victory in my life was raising my two children to become successful adults. Kelly is a real estate broker and owner of Discover Real Estate. Angie Johnson is a well -known commercial and portrait artist. The greatest loss in my life was when my husband, Tom, passed away, December, 2003. My challenge is to be able to stay in my home, keep the snow shoveled, the grass green, and keep the plumbing, furnace and air conditioning working!
MISSES: Good friends - cheap gas - drive-in-theaters - King's hamburgers - and, of course, Elvis Presley.
