WORK: A member of First Plymouth Church and worked for the Lancaster County Engineering Dept. for 18 years. Retired in March, 2005.
INTERESTS: Enjoys Cooking, Playing Bridge, Hand Work and Genealogy.
SIGNIFICANT EVENTS: Southwood Park in Lincoln, Nebraska being renamed and dedicated as Peterson Park in recognition of my father, Ervin E. Peterson
Daughter, Chris Volkmer, representing Springfield Little Theatre, receiving prestigious State award for its contribution to the arts as an organization at the legislature, an annual Arts Advocacy event.
Daughter, Cori Neth, taking up sky diving and drag racing after age 40

REFLECTIONS: True friends are priceless possessions. My life has come full circle: Many happy years being married and raising three children; Falling to the "bottom of the barrel" due to tough times. The pride I feel having brought myself to the top again as a single, productive woman, having a second chance of complete happiness and enjoying life to the fullest.
