WORK: First job was as a secretary and through the years I was a? Bookkeeper, switchboard operator, church secretary. Retired in 2000 after 21 years with the Londonderry, New Hampshire School District as a full-year administrative assistant.
I volunteer two - three days per week at the local library, local hospital in the human resource office and local senior citizen's club.
INTERESTS:
Reading, making scrapbooks for my grandchildren, creating genealogies for my children, gardening, & traveling. A new challenge has been learning to line-dance.
Significant World Events:?The Viet Nam War since I was left to raise three small children for 14 months far from my own immediate family.
Having friends that lost family members in the 'Towers' and being only 40 minutes from Boston where the highjacked planes departed on 911, made that day feel very personal.
