Children: Douglas Heffelfinger, 43, Stromsberg, NE; Deneen Denny, 39, Aurora, NE; Dawn Flores, 35, Aurora, NE. Six Grandchildren.
WORK: After school, 4 years US Navy; Air Conditioning and Heating (1960); Carpet Installer, 1966 to present. I still work 5 days a week. Retire? Yes, in April I plan to cut down to 3 days a week. After that, only God knows.
INTERESTS: Fishing and hunting
Significant Events: 1962 - Poked eye out with screw driver; 1989 - Inducted into LHS Hall of Fame (Gymnastics); Went on two cruises with wife; Went to 2001 Rose Bowl with Whitey Ulrich (Nebraska Vs Miami)
