1966 Yearbook: "In the fall of ?56, Don entered the University of Nebraska. He was a member of Navy R.O.T.C. for two years, having earned a scholarship. He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Young Republicans, Business Administration Advisory Board, and on the Student Tribunal. He was a great sports enthusiast, forever loyal to Lincoln High, and was intramural chairman for his fraternity. Don passed away in a Lincoln hospital on February 19, 1960.
