Married to Carole for 49 years Child: Dawn, 46, Lincoln, Nebraska. Three Grandchildren. First Job after high school, Advance ticket sales for Barnum and Bailey Circus - able to travel throughout the USA and get paid; With Olson Construction in Lincoln and free fell 3 stories in a freight elevator in 1963 while a steel superintendent at the Nebraska Bookstore, fracturing both heels and ankles - OUCH!; Retired in 1979. Moved to Clarinda, Iowa in 1979, started the Elliott Christmas Tree Farm and built an earth sheltered home which we enjoyed until 2003, when we sold out "lock, stock and barrel" and moved to our snowbird home in Beautiful Sun Lakes, Arizona where the dry heat prevails! Am on our POA Board of Directors, and play golf on our 18 hole course on MOST days that end in "Y". Still pursue the LHS Barbershop Quartet Days, by belonging to our award winning Desert Chordsman Mens chorus here in the desert. We still operate the E&E Elliott Enterprises venture, with our Daughter & Son-In-Law, serving the Christmas Tree Growers in the Midwest since 1980 (update: Sold the business in July, 2007, and now use the LLC for the 4 rental homes we own in Sun Lakes). Significant Events: Lost a right lung to cancer in 1997, but this 'one lunger' has NEVER had to do the chemo or radiation - THEY got it ALL!Honors, Victories, Losses, Challengers, Lucky breaks: One hell of a lot - too numerous to mention!
